Wineries on Cayuga Lake

The Cayuga Wine Trail is the oldest wine trail in the United States. Started by Mary Plane of Cayuga Vineyards (since renamed Cayuga Ridge) in the early 1980s, the Cayuga Wine Trail has blossomed into a string of highly regarded vineyards. Fishing

Cayuga and Seneca Lakes total more than 100 square miles of prime fishing waters. Excellent lake, brown and rainbow trout, land locked salmon, small mouth bass and yellow perch are featured on both lakes. The north and south ends of these "trout waters" contain many shoals and flats that provide plenty of chain pickerel, northern pike and largemouth bass.
